FINANCING
Big Rig Driving Academy accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, PayPal, debit cards, TFC (Tuition Funding Credit), checks, and money orders.
GRANTS:
Big Rig Driving Academy currently accepts several grants administered by the State of Connecticut Department of Labor. The State of Connecticut is divided into 5 labor boards with multiple American Job Center locations within each labor board. Big Rig Driving Academy does not administer or award grants, to see if you qualify for a grant please follow the link below to speak to or set up an appointment to access the job seeker resources at your local American Job Center.
The following are the most common grants are available through the State of Connecticut Department of Labor
WIOA GRANT:
The (WIOA) Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act provides federal funds to assist job seekers with job training, education, and workforce development as well as provide employer resources. Connecticut’s 5 Workforce Labor Boards allocate WIOA funds to training or civic organizations to help unemployed and underemployed people to re-enter or in the job market, acquire new job skills, search for a new job, obtain training, and ideally increase their income.
MORTGAGE CRISIS JOB TRAINING PROGRAM:
The MCJTP has been assisting CT residents remain in their home during financial crisis since 2008. Their program helps individuals increase their earning potential and sustain their home with affordable monthly payments. Eligibility factors include home ownership, unemployment/underemployment, and demonstration of an immediate need including being more than 60 days past due on their mortgage for their primary residence.
The MCJTP program educates you on resources, financial and credit counseling, skills inventory, job seeker assistance, and when appropriate retraining for a new career.

To request a Release of Authorization form to request copies of your student records send an email to bigrig@bozzutos.com
Big Rig Driving Academy does not issue 1098-T tax forms. In order to qualify for tuition reimbursement on your annual taxes your program must meet certain weekly/monthly hour requirements and Big Rig does not currently offer any programs meeting this criteria. We are happy to provide a receipt that can be taken to your tax professional.
To ensure the privacy of our students records can only be issued at the request of the enrolled student regardless of the person or entity which paid tuition.
